Here are a few easy reminders before your waxing appointment: DON’T SHAVE! You’d think this would be an easy one. For ideal waxing, we’d like your hair to be at least the length of a grain of rice. For most clients this is 2-3 weeks of no shaving Gently exfoliate the area the day before. This will make sure the hair follicles are exposed and easier for the wax to grab onto. Don’t apply any lotions or creams (if you can help it) to the area(s) you’re having waxed. This may create a barrier between the wax and your hair follicles. Communicate your waxing preferences with your waxer! If you want hair left in any specific areas please be very clear BEFORE your waxer begins. Most of our wax services imply that everything will be gone so don’t be afraid to be specific. Don’t be nervous!
